목장의 목적은 VIPs입니다.(김재정 목사님, 2021-02-09)

목자, 목녀들이 섬김을 하면서 제일 기쁘고 보람이 될 때는 자신이 섬겼던 VIP들이 목장에 나오고 교회에 나와서 예수님을 영접할 때입니다. 그래서 목자, 목녀들이 영혼구원에 초점을 맞추고 섬깁니다. VIP를 위해 기도하고 섬기는 것이 힘든 일이긴 하지만 역설적으로 이것이 목자, 목녀들이 힘을 얻게 되는 길입니다. 목자, 목녀들이 VIP와 씨름을 할 때에 섬김에 활기가 있습니다. VIP전도는 목장 전체의 섬김이 되도록 하는 것입니다. 목장의 초점을 VIP를 찾고 기도하는 일에 맞춥니다. 목자, 목녀뿐 아니라 목장 식구들도 VIPs를 위해서 각자 할 수 있는 일을 찾아서 동참합니다.

목자, 목녀가 선두에서 VIP를 사랑하고 섬기는 모습을 통해서 목장 식구들도 도전을 받게 되고 보고 배웁니다. 그러면서 목장 전체가 자연스럽게 VIP에 관심을 가지고 섬기는 일에 동참합니다. 목장 VIPs가 여럿이 있을지라도 우선적으로 섬길 VIP를 선정합니다. 섬길 VIP는 기도만 하는 것이 아니라 실제적으로 만나면서 섬김을 할 수 있어야 합니다. 목장 VIP 중에서 가장 가능성이 있는 VIP를 먼저 섬기는 것입니다. 목자, 목녀들이 목장의 VIP를 만나면서 관계를 맺고 섬기는 것입니다. 목자, 목녀들이 여러 VIP들을 섬기기보다는 한 명에게 집중을 하는 것이 좋습니다. 여러 VIP들을 한꺼번에 같이 섬김을 하기에는 목자, 목녀들의 시간이나 환경이 제한되어 있습니다. 목자, 목녀가 VIP를 섬기면서 기도하고 마음을 졸이기도 하고 때론 실망도 하면서 관계를 맺어갑니다. 이런 시간들이 목자, 목녀에게는 긴장감을 줍니다. 그런데이러한 긴장감이 목자, 목녀들의 삶에 활력을 갖게 합니다. 목자, 목녀들이 하나님의 사랑 안에 머물면서 한 명의 VIP를 섬기는 일을 쫓기지 않고 꾸준히 씨름 하는 것을 이어 가도록 도와야 합니다. 그래서 몇 년에 한 번이라도 목자, 목녀들이 기도하고 사랑하고 섬기던 VIP가 예수님을 영접하는 경험을 하게 될 때에 기쁨을 얻게 되면서 지쳤다가도 다시 힘을 얻고 일어나게 됩니다.

The purpose of the Mokjang is the VIPs. (Pastor Kim Jae-jung, 2021-02-09)

The greatest joy and fulfillment for the shepherds and shepherdesses of a mokjang come when the VIPs they have served begin to attend the mokjang and church, ultimately receiving Jesus. This is why they focus their service on the salvation of souls. Although praying for and serving VIPs can be challenging, it paradoxically becomes the source of strength for these leaders. When they wrestle in service with their VIPs, a certain vibrancy fills their ministry. The goal of VIP evangelism is to engage the entire mokjang in this service. The focus of the mokjang is set on finding VIPs and praying for them. Not only the shepherds and shepherdesses but also all members of the mokjang actively participate by finding ways to support the VIPs.

The members of the mokjang are inspired and learn by watching the shepherds and shepherdesses at the forefront, lovingly serving VIPs. Through this, the entire mokjang naturally becomes interested in and engaged in the work of serving VIPs. Even if there are multiple VIPs, they choose a primary VIP to focus on. Serving a VIP involves more than just praying; it requires actively meeting and serving that person. They prioritize the VIP who shows the most openness, aiming to build relationships and serve. Rather than dividing their attention across many VIPs, the shepherds and shepherdesses concentrate on one individual, as their time and resources may be limited. In serving their VIP, they pray, anxiously hope, and at times feel disappointment, yet they continue building the relationship. These moments keep them engaged and on their toes, bringing an energizing tension into their lives. This sense of purpose is what brings vitality into their lives.

We should help the shepherds and shepherdesses stay in God’s love and remain consistent, persistently serving a single VIP without rushing. When, after years of prayer, love, and service, a VIP finally accepts Jesus, it renews their joy and revitalizes them to continue, even if they have grown weary.
