13 그러므로 여러분은 마음을 단단히 먹고 정신을 차려서, 예수 그리스도께서 나타나실 때에 여러분이 받을 은혜를 끝까지 바라고 있으십시오.

13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

14 순종하는 자녀로서 여러분은 전에 모르고 좇았던 욕망을 따라 살지 말고,

14 As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance,

15 여러분을 불러주신 그 거룩하신 분을 따라 모든 행실을 거룩하게 하십시오.

15 but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior;

16 성경에 기록하기를 “내가 거룩하니 너희도 거룩하여라” 하였습니다.

16 because it is written, “YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.”
