14] Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming.

우리는 이 이상 더 어린아이로 있어서는 안됩니다. 우리는 인간의 속임수나, 간교한 술수에 빠져서, 온갖 교훈의 풍조에 흔들리거나, 이리저리 밀려다니지 말아야 합니다.

15] Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.

우리는 사랑으로 진리를 말하고 살면서, 모든 면에서 자라나서, 머리가 되시는 그리스도에게까지 다다라야 합니다.

16] From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

온 몸은 머리이신 그리스도께 속해 있으며, 몸에 갖추어져 있는 각 마디를 통하여 연결되고 결합됩니다. 각 지체가 그 맡은 분량대로 활동함을 따라 몸이 자라나며 사랑 안에서 몸이 건설됩니다.
