——————————————————————————————————————–우리가 한 영혼을 섬기려고 VIP를 삼게 되면 그의 필요를 채우기 위하여 여러 가지 섬기는 일을 계획하게 됩니다. 그럴 때에 가장 좋은 전략은 한 목원이 자기 VIP를 정하면 그 목장 전체가 ‘우리의 VIP’로 여기는 것입니다. 목원이 한 분을 VIP로 삼으면 목장에서 그를 위하여 합심기도에 들어가게 됩니다. 그러면 그 목장모임 전체가 그 영혼을 위하여 섬김의 전략에 참여하는 것입니다.

가정교회가 잘 되려면 첫째로 목장모임이 잘되어야 합니다. 너무도 당연한 말 같지만 여기에는 가정교회의 본질이 담겨있습니다. 목장모임의 우선순위는 영혼 구원하여 제자 만드는 일입니다. 이것은 목장모임의 우선순위가 우리 기존 신자들끼리의 신앙증진이 아니고 불신 영혼 VIP들을 구원하여 제자 삼는 일에 있다는 것입니다. 소방구조대원들끼리 위험한 현장에서 함께 있다 보면 너무 절친한 관계가 되지만 그 구조대의 우선순위가 대원들의 친목에 있지 않고 화재 현장에서의 인명구조에 있듯이 우리 목장예배의 우선순위 역시 불신 영혼 구원에 있음을 기억해야 합니다. 물론 먼저 믿은 목장의 기존 신자들끼리 사랑과 화목의 분위기가 없이는 불신 영혼들이 목장에 초청되어 왔다 해도 그가 감동 받을 일이 없게 될 것입니다. 그런 점에서 우리끼리의 교제와 섬김은 무척 소중한 일입니다.

불난 현장 건물 속에 한 사람이 위험 속에 있는 것을 소방대원 한 명이 발견하면 그 시간부터 다른 동료소방대원들과의 합동작전으로 그 사람을 구하게 됩니다. 한 대원은 건물 안으로 들어가고, 한 대원은 소방호스로 물을 뿜고 또 다른 대원은 불길을 차단하는 연합작전이 펼쳐짐으로 그 사람을 구조하게 될 것입니다. 이와 마찬가지로 목장 전체가 단합 하여 한 목원의 VIP를 섬기고 돕는 일은 좋은 열매를 가져옵니다. 어느 목장의 VIP가 병으로 입원한 일이 있었습니다. 이 일을 들은 목장식구들은 하나같이 밑반찬을 만들어 병원으로 향했습니다. 환자는 먹지 못해도 환자의 가족들과 자녀들이 먹을 수 있도록 음식을 나른 것입니다.

목장 전체가 단합 하여 한 목원의 VIP를 섬기고 돕는 일은 좋은 열매를 가져옵니다. 한 지체가 고통을 받으면 모두가 함께 고통을 받고, 한 지체가 기쁜 일을 만나면 모든 지체가 함께 기뻐하는 것, 그것이 진정한 공동체입니다. 목장 모임에서는 이렇게 한 사람의 VIP를 그 목장 전체의 VIP로 삼으시기 바랍니다. 그렇게 하나 되어 섬기고 하나 되어 기도 하다보면 크고 좋은 열매들이 주렁주렁 맺어질 것입니다.

House Church and Evangelism of VIPs

When we choose someone as a VIP in order to serve one soul, we make plans to serve that person in various ways in order to meet his or her needs. At such times, the best strategy is for the entire House Church to regard the VIP chosen by one House Church member as “our VIP.” When one House Church member chooses someone as a VIP, the entire House Church begins to pray together for that person. Then the entire House Church meeting participates in a strategy of serving that soul.

For a House Church to do well, the first thing is that the House Church meeting itself must be doing well. This may sound like a very obvious statement, but it contains the essence of the House Church. The priority of the House Church meeting is to save souls and make disciples. This means that the priority of the House Church meeting is not the spiritual growth of us existing believers among ourselves, but to save unbelieving souls, the VIPs, and make them disciples. Just as firefighters may become very close when they are together in a dangerous situation, but the priority of the rescue team is not fellowship among the firefighters but saving lives at the scene of a fire, we must remember that the priority of our House Church meeting is also saving unbelieving souls. Of course, without an atmosphere of love and harmony among the existing believers in the House Church, even if unbelieving souls are invited to the House Church, there will be nothing that moves them. In that respect, fellowship and serving among ourselves are very important.

When one firefighter discovers a person in danger inside a burning building, from that moment the person is rescued through a joint operation with the other firefighters. One firefighter enters the building, another sprays water with a fire hose, and another blocks the flames. Through this coordinated operation, the person is rescued. In the same way, when the entire House Church unites to serve and help one House Church member’s VIP, it brings good fruit. There was a VIP of one House Church who was hospitalized because of illness. When the House Church members heard about this, every one of them made side dishes and went to the hospital. Even though the patient could not eat, they brought food so that the patient’s family members and children could eat.

When the entire House Church unites to serve and help one House Church member’s VIP, it brings good fruit. When one member suffers, everyone suffers together, and when one member experiences something joyful, everyone rejoices together. That is a true community. In your House Church meetings, please make one person’s VIP the VIP of the entire House Church. As you serve together as one and pray together as one, great and good fruit will bear abundantly.
