[1] 그러므로 이렇게 구름 떼와 같이 수많은 증인이 우리를 둘러싸고 있으니, 우리도 갖가지 무거운 짐과 얽매는 죄를 벗어버리고, 우리 앞에 놓인 달음질을 참으면서 달려갑시다
[1] Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us,
[2] 믿음의 창시자요 완성자이신 예수를 바라봅시다. 그는 자기 앞에 놓여 있는 기쁨을 내다보고서, 부끄러움을 마음에 두지 않으시고, 십자가를 참으셨습니다. 그리하여 그는 하나님의 보좌 오른쪽에 앉으셨습니다.
[2] fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
