토요기도회를 Re-open합니다.(2025.04.27)

예수님께서 부활하신 후, 제자들에게 나타나셔서 영혼 구원하고 제자 삼는 사명을 맡기셨습니다. 그리고 성령님을 보내주시겠다고 약속하시며 말씀하셨습니다. “너희는 위로부터 오는 능력을 입을 때까지, 이 성에 머물러 있어라.” (누가복음 24:49)

그렇다면 제자들은 그 다음에 무엇을 했을까요? 예수님의 부활을 목격한 제자들은 영혼 구원하여 제자삼는 사명을 기꺼이 감당하려 했을 것입니다. 하지만 곧바로 거리로 나가 전도하지는 않았습니다. 예수님의 말씀대로 ‘위로부터 오는 능력’을 입을 때까지 기다립니다. 그리고 누가복음은 이렇게 마무리됩니다. “그들은… 하나님을 찬양하면서 날마다 성전에서 지냈다” (누가복음 24:53)

그들이 성전에서 무엇을 했을까요? 누가복음에 이어지는 사도행전(동일한 저자 누가의 기록)에 따르면, 제자들은 “함께 한마음으로 기도에 힘썼다” (사도행전 1:14)고 기록되어 있습니다. 그들은 함께 찬양하며 기도하며, ‘위로부터 오는 능력’, 즉 성령님을 기다렸던 것입니다. 그리고 마침내 말씀대로 성령님이 임하시고, 제자들을 통해 영혼구원과 제자삼는 역사가 일어나 초대교회가 시작되었습니다.

이 말씀을 통해 우리가 기억해야 할 것은, 영혼 구원하여 제자 삼는 사명은 인간의 능력이 아니라 성령님의 능력으로 이루어진다는 사실입니다. 땅의 능력이 아니라 위로부터 오는 능력으로 되며, 그 능력의 근원이신 성령님의 주도로 이뤄지는 것입니다. 교회는 그렇게 시작됩니다.

그래서 5월부터 토요기도회를 다시 시작합니다. 위로부터 오는 능력을 기다리며, 온 교회가 함께 기도할 수 있는 최소한의 시간을 마련하기 위함입니다. 장소는 각자의 집에서 ZOOM으로 모입니다. 짧은 말씀과 함께 주일예배, 목장과 VIP, 선교지, 나라 등을 위해 중보기도하는 시간이 될 것입니다.

기도회 시간은 매주 토요일 오전 6시 30분입니다. 출근 전 혹은 아이들이 깨기 전 잠깐의 시간을 활용할 수 있도록 배려한 시간입니다. 아이들이 중간에 깨서, 부모님이 달려가든지, 아이들이 달려와도 괜찮습니다. 기도하는 부모와 공동체의 모습을 보고 자란 자녀들은 기도의 중요성을 보고 배워 기도하는 자녀가 될 것입니다.

“내 집은 기도하는 집이라 불릴 것이다” (마가복음 21:13) 하신 말씀처럼, 기도하는 교회, 마라나타 공동체가 되길 기도합니다.

We’re reopening Saturday Prayer Meetings!

After Jesus rose from the dead, He appeared to His disciples and gave them a mission—to save souls and make disciples. He also promised to send the Holy Spirit, saying, “Stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.” (Luke 24:49)

So what did the disciples do next? Even though they had seen the risen Jesus and were ready to follow His mission, they didn’t run out into the streets right away. Instead, they waited—just as Jesus told them to—until they received power from above. Luke ends with this beautiful picture: “They… stayed continually at the temple, praising God.” (Luke 24:53)

What were they doing at the temple? In Acts, which is also written by Luke, we read that “they all joined together constantly in prayer” (Acts 1:14). They prayed and praised God together as they waited for the Holy Spirit—the power from above. And when the Spirit came, just as Jesus promised, the early church was born, and the mission of saving souls and making disciples began through them.

From this, we’re reminded that this mission is not something we can do with our own strength. It happens through the power of the Holy Spirit. The church didn’t begin with human plans—it began with God’s power, from above.

That’s why we’re starting up our Saturday Prayer Meetings again in May. It’s a time for our whole church to come together and pray as we wait for power from above. We’ll gather from our own homes over ZOOM. There will be a short message, followed by intercessory prayer for Sunday worship, small groups, VIPs, mission fields, and our nation.

We’ll meet every Saturday at 6:30 AM—a time that works for many before the day gets going, and before kids wake up. And if your child wakes up during the meeting, it’s totally okay to step away to check on them. They’re welcome to join too! Children who grow up seeing their parents and church community pray will come to value prayer themselves and grow into people of prayer.

Just as Jesus said, “My house will be called a house of prayer” (Mark 11:17), may Maranatha Church be a praying community—His house of prayer.

我们要重新开启周六早祷会啦！

耶稣从死里复活后，向门徒显现，并给了他们一个使命——拯救灵魂，培育门徒。他也应许要赐下圣灵，说：“你们要留在城里，直到领受从上头来的能力。”（路加福音 24:49）

那么门徒接下来做了什么呢？虽然他们已经亲眼见到复活的耶稣，也准备好跟随祂的使命，但他们并没有立刻冲到街上去。而是照着耶稣的吩咐，等候那从天上来的能力。路加用一个美丽的画面结尾：“他们常在殿里称颂神。”（路加福音 24:53）

他们在圣殿做什么呢？在《使徒行传》中（同样是路加所写），我们读到：“他们同心合意地恒切祷告。”（使徒行传 1:14）他们一边等候圣灵降临，一边一起祷告、赞美神。当圣灵真的如耶稣所应许地降临时，初代教会就此诞生了，拯救灵魂、建立门徒的使命也正式展开。

这提醒我们，这个使命不是靠人自己的力量可以完成的，而是要靠从上头来的圣灵能力。教会的开始不是人的计划，而是神的能力运行。

所以我们将在5月重新开启周六早祷会。这是一个我们全教会一同祷告、等候上头能力的时间。我们将在自己家里通过 ZOOM 聚集，有简短的信息分享，然后为主日崇拜、小组、VIP（未信者）、宣教工场和我们的国家一起代祷。

我们每周六早上6:30 AM 聚会——这是许多人在开始新的一天、孩子还没醒来的时候，比较合适的时间。如果在祷告时孩子醒来了，完全可以中途离开去照顾他们，他们也非常欢迎一起来参加！孩子从小看到父母和教会一起祷告，会慢慢学习祷告的价值，成长为祷告的人。

正如耶稣说的：“我的殿必称为祷告的殿。”（马可福音 11:17）愿马拉拿他教会成为一个祷告的群体——祂的祷告之家！
