목회칼럼을 읽어주십시오(2025.04.20)

목회칼럼은 성도님들과 목회자가 소통하기 위한 중요한 창구입니다. 목회자로서 모든 성도님들과 직접 만나 이야기할 수 있다면 좋겠지만, 전달해야 할 내용이 있을 때마다 개별적으로 말씀드리는 것은 현실적으로 많은 시간과 에너지가 소요됩니다.

공적으로 말씀드릴 수 있는 시간으로는 주일 설교 시간이 있지만, 말씀에 관한 이야기만 해도 시간이 부족합니다. 예배 광고 시간도 있긴 하지만, 긴 설명이 필요한 내용을 그 시간에 모두 전한다면, 자칫 설교를 두 번 듣는 느낌이 들지도 모르겠습니다.

이런 이유로, 목회칼럼을 통해 교회의 주요 상황을 공유하고, 교회를 세워가는 데 필수적인 내용들을 소개하기도 할 것입니다. 그래서 칼럼은 마라나타교회가 한마음으로 나아가기 위한 소통의 통로이며, 공동체가 동일한 시선과 마음을 가질 수 있도록 돕는 역할을 할 것입니다.

또한 칼럼을 통해 목회자의 마음과 상황, 소소한 은혜와 감사, 또는 오해가 생기기 쉬운 부분에 대해 미리 설명드릴 수도 있습니다. 즉흥적으로 마음을 표현하는 데 부족함이 있는 목회자로서, 이러한 통로가 있다는 것이 얼마나 감사한지 모르겠습니다.

부탁드리기는, 앞으로 목회칼럼을 꼭 읽어주시기 바랍니다. 특히 목장 모임 시에는 목자님 외에 칼럼을 대표로 읽어주실 분을 정해서, 설교 요약 전에 함께 읽어주시면 좋겠습니다. 이러한 나눔을 통해 우리 공동체가 더욱 한마음으로 나아갈 수 있을 것입니다.

Please Read the Pastoral Column

The Pastoral Column is an important channel of communication between the pastor and the congregation.
While I would love to speak with each of you personally, it is not realistic to do so every time there is something to share, as it would require a significant amount of time and energy.

Of course, there is time during Sunday sermons to speak publicly, but even that is barely enough to share all that God’s Word has for us.
There is also the announcement time, but if I were to deliver longer or more complex messages then, it might feel like listening to sermons twice.

That is why I make use of the Pastoral Column—to share important updates regarding our church and to communicate essential matters for building up the body of Christ.
This column serves as a key tool for Maranatha Church to move forward in unity, helping our community to see and think in the same direction.

At times, I may also use the column to share my heart, to express gratitude for small blessings, or to clarify things that could be easily misunderstood.
As someone who does not always express things well in the moment, I am deeply thankful for this space to communicate with care and clarity.

I kindly ask that you make it a point to read the Pastoral Column going forward.
In particular, during your Mokjang (small group) meetings, I encourage you to designate someone—other than the leader—to read the column aloud before reviewing the sermon summary.
By reading and sharing it together, we can grow in unity and walk forward as one community.
