요한복음 [John] 13:34
[34] 이제 나는 너희에게 새 계명을 준다. 서로 사랑하여라. 내가 너희를 사랑한 것 같이, 너희도 서로 사랑하여라.
[34] A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
요한복음 [John] 15:12-13
[12] 내 계명은 이것이다. 내가 너희를 사랑한 것과 같이, 너희도 서로 사랑하여라.
[12] My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.[13] 사람이 자기 친구를 위하여 자기 목숨을 내놓는 것보다 더 큰 사랑은 없다. 
[13] Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
